Laser cutter certification
You need a certificate issued by the High Tech Lab to reserve the laser cutter. This article explains how to prepare for the free practical test.
The laser cutter can only be reserved by people with a certificate issued by the High Tech Lab. You can obtain it by taking a short, free test of about fifteen minutes on a test evening. You can also come during an Open Lab evening, every Thursday from 18:00 to 22:00, but we cannot guarantee that there will be time for a test. Please email hightechlab@maakleerplek.be beforehand.
We do not recommend taking the test if you have never used our machine.
To prepare, consult our manual alongside practical experience gained during a session or Open Lab. Read it carefully: all the information is relevant and may be covered during certification.
This includes knowing how to access the lab; further information is available in this document.
The test is free. If you do not pass, you can try again on another occasion. There is no limit on the number of attempts.
Complete the form and choose an evening from the available dates. We will manually confirm your fifteen-minute time slot by email within 48 hours.
