Inclusion works: the Leuvens Leerecosysteem's second community day
The second community day brought Leuven organisations together to explore inclusion, talent development and pathways towards paid work.
On Friday 28 November, our second community day brought warmth to Leuven. This time, the focus was inclusion: how can organisations become more inclusive, and how can informal learning spaces support talent development or provide a step towards paid work?
Many organisations in Leuven already help people with greater support needs return to the labour market. The volunteer networks at the heart of our associations once again proved essential in creating a welcoming safety net and giving people a helping hand. One thing became clear: by working together, we can help fewer people fall through the cracks. It was an inspiring, educational and heart-warming day.
As tradition has it, we began with a cycle ride between the learning spaces of the Leuvens Leerecosysteem: Campus Corso, maakleerplek and Atelier Circuler VZW. Around midday, we welcomed the group at de drukkerij in Kessel-Lo.
