Welcome to the Craft Swap hosted by The Thursday Knit Club and Maakleerplek!

Do you have unused craft supplies collecting dust in a drawer, cabinet, or project bag? Do you want to try a new creative hobby? Are you always on the lookout for new ideas? This event is perfect for you! Bring your craft supplies and exchange them for new creative treasures.

Whether it's yarn, fabric, paper craft supplies, beads, embroidery, printmaking supplies, stickers, paint, pencils, mosaic supplies, or any other material, we'd love to find a new home for them.

Participation is free, just bring at least one item you'd like to swap. Opened and partially used supplies are welcome, just make sure they're still clean, usable, and something another maker would be happy to receive (for example, scraps of yarn and fabric). While most items will be exchanged through the swap, larger or higher-value items in good condition may be offered for a small charge (such as large cuts of fabric, several skeins of the same yarn).

Join us on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 13:00 to 15:00 at De Kantine, Maakleerplek (Stapelhuisstraat 13/15, Leuven) for an afternoon of creativity and community. You provide the supplies, and we provide a fun and creative atmosphere, a bar stocked with drinks, and a cozy space to meet fellow makers and craft during the event.
