Cutting plotter
With the cutting plotter you cut digital vector files from paper or vinyl — ideal for stickers, iron-on designs and more.
About the machine
The High Tech Lab has a Brother Scan ’n Cut CM900 cutting plotter with a working area of 30 × 30 cm. The machine drives a small blade on a rotating head.
Besides cutting, this machine can also draw and scan. Scanning is handy for cutting just inside (or outside) the lines of a design, or for detecting holes in your material so your design is cut in exactly the right spot.
