In this workshop you learn to make a stamp with the laser cutter: preparing the right files in Inkscape (with special attention to stamp design), loading your file into the laser cutter software, and seeing how the cutter engraves and cuts your design in laser-safe stamp rubber. Nothing to bring, though you may bring your own laptop with Inkscape. Language: Dutch.

You've found or made a 3D model: how do you print it as well as possible? In this workshop you learn to print an existing model on the High Tech Lab's 3D printers. Where do things often go wrong, and how do you prevent it? No experience needed. Bring your laptop, preferably with a mouse. No laptop? You can use one of ours. Language: English. Want to work sheets thicker than 9 mm, mill a 3D design out of wood or try aluminium? You can, with the High Tech Lab's small and large CNC machines. In this series of four (3, 17, 24 and 25 October) you learn everything from making a CAM file (Computer Aided Manufacturing) to operating the CNC itself. The series includes a certification, which you need to use the machines on your own afterwards. You register once for the whole series: € 120 for the four sessions. The series takes place in the High Tech Lab in the Zakkenkuiserij. Bring your laptop, preferably with a mouse. No laptop? You can use one of ours. Language: Dutch or English, depending on the participants. Maximum 3 participants. The fee is non-refundable; if you can't make it, you can pick another date. Questions?
