Accessibility
Because of the current Covid measures, maakleerplek is working behind closed doors for the time being We will keep you posted as to when we will be able to open our doors again as soon as this is the case.
Public transport
maakleerplek is a mere 10-minute walk from Leuven railway station, which means we are easy to reach by train. Coming in by bus? Alight at the Engels plein bus stop, right behind the new port building. maakleerplek is situated right across the canal.
Bicycle
The maakleerplek site has a large bicycle parking space. There is also space for larger bikes and little people carriers.

Kiss & ride zone
At the parking tweewaters, all car owners may station their car free of charge for the first fifteen minutes. This allows the car park to be used as a kiss & ride area.
Accessibility

For visitors with reduced mobility, there is a drop-off space right in front of the entrance.
Thanks to a lift, all spaces and floors at the Molens van Orshoven are accessible to all. Various parts of the building are accessible by elevator.
maakleerplek is temporarily housed in a former factory building. Sadly, the silos and the inner court years of the Molens van Orshoven are less well adapted to the needs of visitors with reduced mobility.
